    As a Controls Engineer they will be responsible for Design, documentation, and/or programming of building automation systems (BASs) in compliance with project plans and specifications.

    Proactive communication with project team both internal and external including requests for information (RFIs) and technical risks and opportunities.

    Design of complete building automation systems, including the specification and sizing of controllers, electromechanical devices, sensors, networks, and computer hardware.

    Creation, where necessary, of sequences of operation for the control of common building systems.
    Documentation of the BAS design (i.e. submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents.
    Site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).
    Development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems (using Eikon and ViewBuilder).
    Testing of programming and interfaces prior to deployment.
    Support of functional testing (commissioning) for building systems.
    Final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since issuance of the submittal.
    Adherence to project requirements and company and customer standards in all aspects of design, programming, and implementation.
    Identification and communication of project opportunities and risks related to cost, time, and technical considerations.
    Clear communication and proactive expectation setting with manager and project teams both internal and external.
    High regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
    4+ years of HVAC or controls experience
    ~20% Travel required
    ~ Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.

    Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline and 2+ years' experience in the HVAC controls industry.
    Able to understand and recommend modifications to sequences of operations for the automation of building systems.
    Able to write sequences of operations for common HVAC systems and control methodologies.
    Experience with Microsoft Visio (other CAD software acceptable).
    Working knowledge of Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services.
    Understanding of Enterprise IP networks, including layout.
