Description

We are in search of a Licensed Psychologist to execute medical assessments on United States Veterans as a part of the VA's disability benefits process.

While conducting Disability Assessments, you will inspect behavioral health records digitally through a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in-person with each Veteran.

You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal.

The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability decisions. The U.S. Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability determinations, utilizing the findings documented in the DBQs.

This position SOLELY focuses on Disability Assessments for Veterans. There is NO involvement in treatment or medication prescription in this role.

Licensed Psychologists will evaluate and analyze an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.

Licensed Psychologists will be engaged as Independent Contractors.

Schedule: Part-Time (Thursdays)

This is an ON-SITE position.

Requirements

MRG Exams seeks a Licensed Psychologist who:

• Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D and has completed an APA-accredited program/school.
• Has an active & unrestricted license in Psychology.
• Complies with the credentialing standards established by the VA
