- Ensure building and equipment are well-maintained to prevent downtime and uphold employee productivity and safety standards.
- Provide strategic guidance for distribution center projects and oversee service provider activities.
- Completing preventative maintenance on schedule
- Ensuring safety checklists are up to date
- Finding ways to save on equipment and parts
- Improving recycling and power consumption initiatives
- Maintaining a high uptime vs downtime ratio
- Have experience managing building/facilities projects and repairs
- Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, fire suppression, security systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural maintenance
- Take pride in maintaining facility appearance and prioritize safety
- Are proactive in addressing building concerns and fostering positive relationships with employees
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation equipment upkeep and facility management
- Familiarity with fire systems, electrical systems, and heavy equipment maintenance
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and automated distribution equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change and take on new responsibilities
