- Deliver fundamental bedside care.
- Administer and document prescribed medication, promptly reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Request and assess diagnostic tests.
- Collect samples for laboratory testing, request corresponding lab work, and interpret reports.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and document electronic displays.
- Ensure correct positioning and operation of catheters, leads, and tubing.
- Communicate patients' status to their family members.

We are currently seeking Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse opportunity in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. See below for further details.
As an ICU Travel Nurse, your main responsibilities will include evaluating and monitoring patients within an Intensive Care Unit environment. ICU RNs play a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in critical situations, documenting and delivering physician-directed care, creating and implementing patient care plans, and assigning tasks to other healthcare providers as needed. In addition, as an ICU RN, you will offer education and assistance to patient families, potentially for extended care requirements.
As an ICU Travel Nurse, you should be ready to perform the following duties:
