    Description
    Amergis (Formerly Maxim Physician Resources) is a nationwide agency rated top 2 by Forbes in 2023 for healthcare staffing agencies. We hire physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health professional for openings with some of the top hospitals, clinics, and other facilities working both short and long-term contracts. We're currently seeking an experienced physician for a Medical Director opening with an ISD in the DFW metro.

    • Responsibilities Summary -
      • FT physician in the joint city/school employee health center. The appointee will be an employee of the school district and will report to the assistant superintendent - personnel services. The physician will be responsible for the day-to-day medical operations of the health center and supervise the medical staff. The physician will work closely with staff, school, and city admin, employees who are members of the respective health plans, and eligible dependents.
    Required Qualifications -
    • Active/Unrestricted TX Medical License
    • BC/BE ABFM, ABIM, or ABP
    • At least 2 years of post-residency experience
    • BLS Certification
