Description

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our exclusive client in Southfield, Michigan.

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: $26/Hr {Work directly for the Dental Office}

What You Do:

Act as patient advocate, assisting patients who may have concerns.
Effectively educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment.
Prepare treatment plans and make financial arrangements per practice guidelines.
Prepare and present financial options to encourage patients to say "Yes" to comprehensive care option

What You Need:

Valid license to practice
Electronic billing and billing knowledge.
Ability to meet monthly production/collection goals.
Proficiency in communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with financing such as Care Credit/Lending club and.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, confident demeanor.
Ability to review the patient's clinical history including review of x-rays, notes, and images as needed.
Ability to interact with staff and patients as a professional and maintain a collaborative approach.
Flexibility to use technology including computers, internet, spreadsheets, etc for additional administrative.
Strong knowledge of financial options offered by the practice and how to use them to make care affordable for the patient.
