- Preparing and processing of general ledger transactions and journal entries
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
- Assist in completing the monthly close process
- Preparation of support schedules for quarterly and annual SEC filings
- Assisting with quarterly and year-end audits
- Various ad hoc financial analysis and performing special projects as requested
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting function
- Must be proficient in Excel - Oracle Cloud and/or Hyperion is a plus
- Detail oriented and has strong organizational skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to handle multiple job assignments at the same time

Overview:
Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our expanding team. Intercontinental Exchange is an innovative company with a fast-paced environment and we are looking for a Staff Accountant who is a quick learner and excels at multi-tasking. This position will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly analytic reports, preparing account reconciliations, maintaining regulatory filings and doing their part to ensure the month-end close process is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
