    IntePros is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for one of our client's, a leading health insurance provider in the Greater Philadelphia marketplace. This role will have onsite requirements in Philadelphia, PA.

    Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

    Job Summary: As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and integrity of our network infrastructure and services. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and developing LAN, MAN, and WAN systems across the organization. You'll be instrumental in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Utilizing advanced troubleshooting methods and tools, you will analyze and resolve complex network hardware and software issues promptly and accurately. Additionally, you'll apply your communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues effectively.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage LAN/MAN/WAN, Firewall (VPN), Load Balancing Technology, Wireless Networking, Cloud Networking, and document advanced troubleshooting techniques and capacity planning methods.
    • Provide research and recommendations for continuous process improvement, including evaluating vendor proposals in line with procurement policies and procedures.
    • Work on projects/systems/issues of medium to large complexity as a project team member.
    • Perform the duties of the Sr. Network Engineer as required.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent.
    • 7+ years of Data Network experience preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing, F5 LTM/ASM, network Security, network management systems.
    • CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or equivalent hands-on and network design experience.
    • F5-CSE certification preferred.
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong technical and project management skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in balancing daily workload, business tasks, and maintenance projects.
    • Collaborative approach with Project Managers to ensure successful project completion.
    • Good communication skills and ability to make recommendations based on knowledge and environment.
    • Independent worker with minimal guidance and acts as a resource for colleagues.
    • Flexibility for off-hours support and on-call duties.
    • Minimal travel required.
    Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive knowledge of network hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.
    • Proficiency in LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP HW/SW technology, network infrastructure, design, topology, protocols, and operating procedures.
    • Expertise in Cisco Nexus Switch Technology, Cisco Catalyst Switch Technology, Cisco ISR and ASR Router Technology, and Routing Protocols.
    • Strong understanding of Cisco NFG Firewall, Cisco Wireless Technology, Application Load Balancer, DNS/DHCP, IPAM Technology, and other related technologies.
    • Proficient in network monitoring tools and network troubleshooting skills.
    Bonus Skills:
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google, Azure, AWS.
    • Familiarity with Gigamon, VoIP, Multicasting, and Optical Network technologies.
