    Analyst, Strategy & Analytics

    Reports to:
    Manager, Strategy & Analytics

    Position Summary
    Red Oak Sourcing is a 50/50 joint venture between two Fortune 20 companies. Red Oak sources generic drugs for Cardinal Health and CVS Health.

    The Strategy & Analytics Analyst helps shape Red Oak's generic pharmaceutical sourcing strategy through industry research, portfolio analysis, and creative and strategic thinking.

    This role supports qualitative and quantitative on-going and ad hoc projects, informing daily operations and long-term strategy and supporting decisions made by the senior leadership team.

    The Analyst works directly with the Strategy & Analytics team and cooperatively with teams across Red Oak.

    Location

    Red Oak Sourcing is located in Foxboro, MA and operates in a hybrid model (Monday's and Friday's work from home, with Tuesday through Thursday being in-office).

    Must be willing and able to commute to/from the office 3 days a week.

    Responsibilities
    Support industry intelligence
    Understand the generic pharmaceutical industry, brand-to-generic lifecycle, and the Red Oak business
    Conduct regular and ad hoc research on industry trends to inform Red Oak strategy and initiatives
    Analyze and prepare reports on industry topics, including supplier business updates, pipeline of new generic launches, competitor dynamics, government and regulatory dynamics, and supply chain
    Review industry publications to track events and trends and regularly report findings
    Prepare executive profiles in preparation for meetings with suppliers at industry conferences

    Create insights from data and analyses
    Compile qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources into meaningful insights with a point of view
    Synthesize complex information into digestible ideas
    Communicate findings and insights through presentations and reports, primarily in PowerPoint

    Partner on strategic projects
    Support strategic and ad hoc initiatives with the Strategy & Analytics team and in collaboration other departments
    Contribute to internal innovation efforts to improve workflow and business outcomes

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree and/or previous internship experience that would have developed an applicable skillset for this role (outlined below), highly preferred
    Strong writing skillset, an aptitude for research, and the ability to be an effective communicator in a highly collaborative environment (all necessary skills); ability to summarize complex ideas into a simple narrative and ability to convey research and analyses to senior management
    Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
    Must be proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
    Passion for healthcare or the greater good (a plus)
