Position Summary
To assist the perioperative nursing/surgical teams in meeting the needs of all customers by performing a variety of tasks and/or services including maintaining facilities, providing support functions, and assisting with basic patient care functions while continuously performing in a professional manner.
QualificationsEducation/Qualification
High School diploma or equivalency
Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education preferred
Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred.
Skills
Able to speak and write English Fluently
Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of surgical instruments preferred
