- Develops Design Plansets from standardized templates, designing technical floor plans, elevations, details, and specifications throughout various design phases of (permit, bid & finals), utilizing Revit (extensively) and CAD for specific markets/customers.
- Develops design-related presentations and assists in developing proposals and tools (materials, guidelines, assets).
- Coordinates with internal resources and external customers to ensure the timely completion of projects, within estimated hours; utilizing scheduling program. Individual problem-solving & collaboration with Coordination, CAD, Project Management and Sales on a daily/project-basis.
- References product, manufacturing and production details, as well as installation guide documents; and interacts with engineering, supply chain and production departments on specific initiatives.
- Manages individual design projects & output while complying with all standard deliverable practices.
- Independently maintains workload while engaging team alignment and providing peer quality control support within design team.
- Supports special projects, product development support, customer assignments as requested.
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year degree in job-related field required.
- 3+ years of work experience in an interior design firm needed.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, (min 2012 release date for both programs) is required.
- Familiar with interoffice programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or SketchUp is a plus.
- Excellent customer relationship skills, attention to detail, tenacity and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be very well organized and self-sufficient.
- Participate in and develop program and presentations.
- Ability to maintain individual management of projects and perform quality control for peers.
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Accepts direction and provides guidance to peers and others.
- Self-direct production output based on the account needs at a high level.
