    GTB is a key growth business within TDS that provides the opportunity to make an impact with top tier global Corporate, FI and Institutional clients by providing innovative solutions and treasury advisory services on large and complex liquidity, payment and trade needs.

    The business constantly changes with macroeconomic conditions, unprecedented levels of innovation, interest rate environments, and foreign exchange movements.

    As a result, all GTB business lines continue to evolve to provide optimum trade finance, liquidity, and payment solutions to clients.


    GTB is comprised of four business lines: Global Trade Finance ("GTF"), Corporate Cash Management ("CCM"), Financial Institutions ("FI"), and Export and Agency Finance ("EAF").

    Position Summary


    TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of GTB's product suite in order to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the TDS franchise.

    The Director - GTB US Product Management is a senior role that is critical to GTB's growth plans in the US.

    The role requires deep understanding of GTBs' products, strategy, clients, competitors, and business drivers.


    GTB is seeking a highly skilled Product Management leader with significant experience managing the full product management lifecycle including strategy, market analysis, product design, commercialization, pricing, and portfolio management.

    The candidate must be a visionary leader who can drive and deliver transformative change by leading with the voice of the client.


    The role is responsible for driving the product strategy, market analysis, client segmentation, client solutioning and go-to-market activities to drive growth in the Large Corporate and NBFI segments in the US.


    Specific responsibilities will include:
    Drive the execution of all activities in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, pricing, and product launch, including:

    Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships
    Provide analysis of our capabilities vs peers and competitors. Identify opportunities for differentiation and evaluate risks of disintermediation
    Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

    Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, requirements, revenue, and ROI.
    Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product benefits for differentiation and competitiveness.
    Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates TDS across primary market segments.

    Work with Sales and Relationship Managers to identify target clients and develop go-to-market strategy: identify target penetration rates and revenue goals.

    Develop internal support materials (e.g. updated RFP responses, decks for sales teams, sales support materials, etc.).
    Understand internal TDS strategy and growth objectives and align GTB product roadmap (e.g., new markets, client segments, etc. the firm might want to penetrate and how GTB can support).

    Communicate the holistic client-centric product vision, strategy, roadmap, success metrics and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners both in TD Securities and across the Bank.

    Ensure products and services meet US regulatory standards, as applicable, and are managed within a strong control and risk management framework (working with Legal & Risk counterparts).

    Foster a high-performance client-centric culture.
    Champion a culture of continuous improvement, regularly reviewing and optimizing the product portfolio based on performance metrics.

    Build strong relationships internally with senior management across TDS businesses and externally with market participants including competitor/partner banks, legal counsels, consultants, industry forums, regulators, etc.

    Job Requirements

    10+ years in Wholesale Transaction Banking product management.
    Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
    Deep understanding of the US transaction banking space, including products, client needs. and competitive dynamics.
    High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
    Understanding of the business and profitability drivers in wholesale transaction banking.
    Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
    Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
    Experience developing strategy and implementing change across a substantial business or portfolio.
    Ability to make sound judgment calls relating to strategic decisions under time pressure and manage well in ambiguous situations.

    Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving leadership skills in order to plan and execute change, leveraging extensive research and data including economic insights, market / industry insights, and client feedback.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability drive strategy implementation by effectively working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
