    Senior Consultant - Grant Management

    The Senior Consultant- Grants Manager provides client support with m onitoring state and federal grants including project eligibility, reporting and recipient and subrecipient monitoring.

    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field is desired.

    Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grants Professional Certification (GPC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other grants management certifications are preferred, but not required.

    Minimum 3 years' experience with federally funded grants management and reporting, including ARPA, IIJA, and EPA programs, is desired.

    Prior advisory and/or consulting experience is preferred.
    Strong writing and presentation skills required.
    Ability to identify and research potential funding opportunities and interpret and understand grant application guidelines and requirements.
    Experience with the full grant lifecycle from pre-award, post-award through closeout on federally funded programs.
    Ability to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

    Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Evaluate client needs, recommend project approaches, and understands engagement scope, manages activities for completing work, and assists with oversight of overall quality control of client deliverables.

    Assists in the review of proposal request, development of proposals and grant applications as necessary
    Develops competency in federal and state policy, specifically federal funding requirements under 2 CFR 200.
    Delivers client services including, but not limited to:
    Monitoring grants, including uniform guidance recipient monitoring, and sub-recipient monitoring.
    Consulting with award recipients and program officials on financial, program, administrative, or policy matters.
    Monitoring all phases of grants and agreements for the award life cycle.

    Providing guidance to award recipients and program officials on the proper application of Federal regulations and agency policies and processes.

    Responding to award applicant inquiries on administrative, financial, or programmatic issues related to pre-award and post-award activities (e.g., risk analysis, grant monitoring).

    Reviewing applicable award documents to ensure compliance with administrative, financial, programmatic, policy, and legal regulations and requirements.

    Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures, laws and regulations, and keeps current on compliance-related areas.
    Assists with the implementation of and ensures adherence to proper workflow, processes, and procedures.

    Ensures engagements and special assignments are accomplished within the approved budget and on time, along with managing team resources in an efficient and effective manner to meet productivity and realization goals, along with scheduling internal and external activities.

    Recommends new approaches, resource tools, deliverables, policies, and procedures to impact continual improvements in departmental efficiencies and services performed.

    Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, and work processes. Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

    May assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service and demonstrating team work skills.

    Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.
    Perform other services as assigned.
    May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
    May be required to work overtime, and/or on weekends as needed.
