    Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced Cloud Engineer to serve as part of ACI's Government Program that supports Product Management Integrated Visual Augmentation System (PdM IVAS).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Audits customer's architecture solutions and recommend changes needed to meet requirements.
    • Works with a team of Engineers to architect, modernize, and deliver AWS and AZURE solutions.
    • Migrates applications and products to an enterprise cloud environment and maintains continuous integration (CI) / continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
    • Works with the customer to integrate Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud architectures into their existing environment and edge architectures.
    • Works with Software Engineers to ensure that the architecture meets requirements of the proposed applications.
    • Supports troubleshooting, administration, and security compliance for deployed architectures.
    • Provides expertise in high availability, contingency planning, and automated provisioning.
    • Collaborates with a cross-functional team (including Configuration Management, Cyber Security, Technical Documentation, Technical Analysis, and Software Engineering personnel) to support and enhance verification and validation (V&V) activities for augmented reality (AR) applications.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Security+ certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
    • Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner or MS Certified Azure Fundamentals within 90 days of employment.
    • 2+ years' AWS/AZURE experience in a solutions delivery or administrative role.
    • 2+ years' experience with cloud frameworks, services, and technologies.
    • Experience with Bash scripting and Linux command line.
    • Familiarity with cloud service delivery models.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to convey IT and cloud technology concepts.
    • Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.
    • Ability to travel to customer locations and support customer engagements.
    • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
    • Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a US Government clearance is required, and all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
    • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
    • Must possess a High School diploma and 20 years' experience or, Associate's degree and 16 years' experience or, Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience or, Master's degree and 5 years' experience.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2+ years' experience working within a DevSecOps environment, utilizing AWS or AZURE services, solutions, and provisioning/automating infrastructure, services, and tools in a DoD environment.
    • Certified Architecture Associate for AWS or MS Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with Palo Alto.
    • Experience with database management.
    • Experience with Ansible automation.
    • Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) applications.
    • Experience with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) and Watchtower.
    • Experience with Army Mission Command Systems (e.g., Nett Warrior, Joint Battle Command-Platform, etc.)
    • Experience with Atlassian Software Suite including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Bamboo.
    • Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
    • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.

    Pay Band Information:

    $96,000 - $175,000

    The ACI pay band for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of a specific compensation. Factors that influence the pay offered to a specific candidate for this position include, but are not limited to, federal and state laws; federal government contract labor categories and contract wage rates; relevant prior work experience; a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors; geographic location; education; and certifications.
