B&I Contractors is seeking adjunct instructors to support a variety of trade specific in person and/or hands on training and NCCER Certification Training. These positions are part-time and 100% remote. Trade Instructor Position is responsible for providing the following:

• Effective skills instruction to engage an adult learner audience.
• Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
• Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Serving as a role model and advocate for student success so that our trainees have the support they need to succeed.

Other responsibilities include:

• Remediations and office hour sessions for students.
• Maintaining participation and performance records.
• Collaborating with the Training Development staff on curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment.
• Providing timely and appropriate responses to students and inquiries.
• Participating in professional development.
• Maintaining professional competence and certifications.
  
  

Courses may be offered day, evening, weekend and at various locations.

Skilled trade programs include Pipefitter, HVAC, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Service Technicians and Electrical. B&I Required Qualifications

• Combination of education and NCCER Craft Instructor Certification to demonstrate content expertise.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to community student success
• Experience teaching adult learners
• NCCER Certified Instructor preferred
