    Description

    Looking for CNC machinist wanting to run a lathe and cross train on other machines when needed. Multiple set ups/day. Great benefits1st and 2nd shift available
    $28-35/hr .


    Description:

    There are 3 different areas in the machine shop:1.

    Vertical CNC Milling Machinist:

    will be responsible for setting up and operating the VMCs, could be responsible for 2 machines at a time (total of 4 VMCs in the shop)2.


    CNC Turning Machinist:

    will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC turning machines; could be responsible for 2-3 machines at a time (total of 7 lathes in the shop); will perform 2-5 set-ups/shift3.


    Manual Lathe Machinist:
    will be responsible for setting up and operating a manual lathe and multiple drill presses (this is not a current need)

    The following machines in the machine shop:
    Mori Seiki VMC/LatheMatsuura VMCHaas VMCOkuma LatheCincinnati LatheSunstraad BroachHofmann Balancer
    Additional Skills & Qualifications:
    • Ability to perform full set ups (will train if light on set ups) Ability to read blueprints Ability to inspect own parts with mics/cals Need to be willing to help out where needed (i.
