- Current ED experience 3+ years required
- Fill night shifts for weekends only
- 8p-6a weekend nights|holidays
- Annual volume 33,000 non-trauma center
- 11 bed ER- 8 fast track beds
- Not responsible for the NP (signing off) as they're independent practitioners in the VA System.
- NP cover Fast Track.
- Avg census at night is 18 per 10-hour shifts
- Minimal to moderate acuity; do not take in trauma patients
- No STEMI|CVA. No neurosurgery. No IR. No OB|GYN.
- Vascular is limited.
- No trauma
- ED physicians do not support CC in hospital. This is covered by the ICU staff.
- MOD handles all admissions.
- Fast Track closes at 1030p and patients are then seen in the ED after 1030pIf you can cover 1-2 weekends per month, we look forward to receiving your resume
