- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage purchase contracts, and ensure effective procurement processes.
- Analyze systems, policies, and procedures, providing recommendations and managing implementation.
- Vett and manage vendor relations.
- Report to and work alongside CFO in forecasting, renewals, negotiations, and issue resolution processes for all brands and locations.
- Optimize costs while mitigating risks.
- Track market trends, prices, rebates and taking remedial action as needed.
- Analyze price changes and assess the impact.
- Communicate with senior leadership and be a major contributor to the overall leadership effort.
- Lead vendor remediation efforts and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations, sales and project managers to ensure best practices and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business-related field; or equivalent business experience and ten (10) years of supply chain experience in progressive company.
- Excellent cross functional experience and business knowledge of supply chain operations.
- Exercise good judgement in decision making, with proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to identify root cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions.
