Job Responsibilities
Join Trident Technical College This summer, TTC will offer 36 full-week summer camps at various locations throughout the summer. Students from our community will take part in a fun educational journey exploring multiple STEM topics This is an excellent opportunity for individuals in the following areas to share their education and experience. These positions will teach and provide hands-on experience in related areas.
The camps will cover multiple STEM topics such as Virtual Reality, 3D printing, Robotics, Drones, Culinary, Film/Media/Visual Arts, Cybersecurity, Video Game Design, and MORE The topics change daily and based on lesson plans using the technology available at the college.
Camps are from June 10 through July 26 and grouped by ages 7-9, 10-12, and
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15 am - 4:45 pm, with an 30 minute lunch break (40 hours per week). Assignments are made weekly for 1-6 weeks, depending on availability. No camp the week of July 1 -5.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Ideal candidates will have related education and experience in the area of instruction. The minimum pay rate for Camp Instructors is $40 per hour.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching K12 students is a plus.
