    We're Hiring Med Techs Immediately - pay scale recently increased


    Providence is seeking friendly and compassionate Medication Aides (Med Tech) to join our Sub Acute Care team at Providence St.

    Joseph Care Center in Spokane, WA.

    We have robust Long-Term Care, Transitional Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation Care departments for you to explore a variety of clinical scenarios in your nursing assistant career.

    Job Description:
    Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
    • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement upon hire.
    • Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam upon hire.
    • 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

    Preferred Qualification:

    • 1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting
