    Our Company: BCI BRANDS distributes Vince Camuto, CECE, 1-State, and designs, manufactures, and markets women's apparel. The company offers blouses, jackets, tops, skirts, sweaters, and printed maxi dresses.

    We're looking for a Product Development Managerto work with cross-functionally across departments to ensure that all outstanding order details are being completed. An ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, has great time management and is a self-starter who is excited to work in a rapidly evolving office.

    Reports to: President of BCI

    Responsibilities:

    • Track, receive and distribute development S/offs & lab dip submits, showroom garments and production samples with critical approval due dates to designers for review.
    • Working cross-functionally with the fabric and production departments on availability for shipments.
    • Update design and production teams with shipment tracking reports for outstanding submits.
    • Assist with the internal & external communication when needed.
    • Inform team on the status of all incomplete garments that need to be reworked or redeveloped for orders.
    • Estimate & analyze yields and garment construction etc. to be the most cost effective for the customer.
    • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors & verifying accuracy on all new order information sent from sales.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product development strategies.
    • Working with the design team to gather all necessary data in a timely manner and helping to relay all information to the appropriate departments.

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years of experience in product development
    • At least 2+ years of experience as associate designer in fashion industry working on women's apparel
    • Strong problem-solving and execution skills
    • Detailed-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
    • Knowledgeable in garment costing and apparel fabrications
    • Excellent in multitasking and doing what it takes to meet deadlines
    • Great fashion sense that fits with the aesthetic of the brand
    • Must be able to sketch styles either by hand or have a working knowledge of Illustrator
    • Comfortable with understanding garment construction and tech packs
    • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed.
    • Excellent communication and follow-through skills, especially following up with multiple teams to get the information needed to resolve pending purchase orders
    • Ability to research trends that relate to the brand
    • Comfortable entering and retrieving data from multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Teams & Exenta

    The salary offered for this full-time, exempt role is $80-100k based on experience.
