We are seeking LPNs with a minimum of two years of experience, including travel experience of at least one year, to join us. The role requires living at least 60 miles away from the location applied to. Weekly payment will include a stipend and eligibility for Sanford Benefits. Responsibilities involve working at any Good Samaritan Society site within the designated area. Contracts are available for 6, 8, or 13 weeks with opportunities for extension or transfer to another site.
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) offers professional nursing care to individuals of all ages in long-term care settings, under supervision. Demonstrates proficiency in nursing principles, providing care aligned with the resident's needs. Capable of conducting tests, evaluating data, and responding effectively in emergencies. Promotes residents' health, safety, and comfort, administers medications, and provides technical support to healthcare professionals. Maintains documentation of interactions, outcomes, and care details. Skilled in building relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with preference for an associate degree. IV therapy/management skills require specific qualifications in North Dakota. Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing Board. Completion of required competencies, certifications, and ongoing education.
