Job Title: Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Yuma Proving Ground, AZ

Duties:

Arrange for teachers and volunteers as needed. Student to teacher ratio will be one adult for every ten children, with a minimum of two adults present at all times.
Ensure facility is orderly and restored to its original condition after each function.
Be able to effectively work with chaplains, chapel staff, teachers, and parishioners of all faith groups.
Register and train Catholic Youth of the Chapel (CYOC) and Summer School students, teachers, and new families when required.
Maintain attendance and training records on students and teachers in all Catholic Religious Education.
Ensure that all new teachers/volunteers working with children will have an appropriate background check accomplished per Chapel Operating Instructions.
Prepare publicity needed for the religious education program including, but not limited to: bulletin/pulpit announcements, worship aids, program calendars, flyers, permission slips, etc.
