    Summary:

    The Business Development Lead (BDL) is responsible for delivering accelerated sales growth for the services business area for locations within the CED Industrial Solutions Network. They will work closely with the sales teams and clients to help them become more efficient and profitable by the use of our service deliverables.

    Ideal candidates will have a background understanding industrial manufacturing and the needs and wants of all clients within this market segment. A strong background in automation technology and partnering, is desired in conjunction with an understanding of the value selling process.

    This will be a territory-defined role. There is a requirement to interact with other team members in the Industrial Solutions Network to deliver the best possible client experience.

    Reports to: Respective Business Development Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience required.

    + 5+ years of industrial automation / sales experience preferred

    + Demonstrated success in new business development, executive selling and partnership management.

    + Proven leadership skills to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports to embrace new concepts and solutions.

    + Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal communication skills with a versatility to span engagement from executives to individual contributors.

    + Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives.

    + Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Rockwell or other Industrial Automation Technical Certificates (Drives, PLC, Software, etc.)

    + Electrician / Electronics Tech / Robotics Tech / Automation Tech Certification/license

    + OSHA / NFPA or other Certified Training Professional

    + Safety Certifications (TUV, SMS, BSCP, etc.)

    + Work Experience supporting manufacturing processes

    Working Conditions:

    This position is defined to a set territory (Arkansas) which has a home base office but is inclusive of the entire assigned territory.

    As such, the individual will be required to travel to various CED sales office locations plus customer manufacturing locations.

    This position will be based in one of (Little Rock, Russellville, Fort Smith, Springdale) and will support customers throughout Arkansas.

    Essential Job Functions:

    New Business Development

    + Work directly with each Profit Center manager to develop an account-level plan for their territory.

    + Create and manage the services sales planning and execution processes.

    + Manage the technicians and other AIMM personnel in the territory.

    + Execute the agreed-upon commercial sales strategy and plan to meet or exceed growth targets

    + Develop a sphere of relationships with targeted accounts, including all appropriate decision-makers/stakeholders at the client and the Profit Center

    + Introduce and sell the entire service offering from Rockwell Automation, third-party service providers and AIMM-performed services to the targeted clients

    + Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition of the AIMM services offering

    + Develop new service offerings that can be implemented in your geography and transplanted across territories through client interface and interviews

    + Collaborate with industrial account managers to understand client buying behavior and opportunities

    + Support marketing efforts with branding, strategy and content

    + The role will not be limited to the above, other duties will be added as required

    Partner Development

    + Represent all of the AIMM service offerings including Rockwell Automation Authorized Service Provider (ASP) offerings

    + Develop new and maintain existing strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators and installer partners to augment current portfolio

    + Participate in appropriate professional organizations and industry events to exhibit thought leadership, develop new partnerships and promote capabilities
