- Execute customer orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
- Provide technical support for assigned products to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers
- Maintain and update assigned products through Engineering Change Requests and design projects.
- Perform and document design calculations and analysis
- Create 3D CAD models and assemblies
- Create additional design documentation such as part numbers, test specifications, instruction manuals, design practices and procedures, etc.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering(specifically one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and visualization skills
- One or more years' engineering experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and GD&T
- Working knowledge of computer tools in particular those related to the design and technical drawing (three-dimensional CAD, Solidworks, FEM finite element calculation) and of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, VBA experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of material properties
- Programming experience.

This position is responsible for providing custom engineered solutions to customers' unique applications. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of activities, from concept development, designing, testing, and implementing custom valve solutions into production around the world.
