    Description:
    Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, NY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN will have the opportunity to enhance their nursing skills while fostering strong relationships with residents and colleagues.


    Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center provides a secure and comfortable environment for residents with memory impairments. The center offers specialized programs for individuals in early to mid-stage memory impairment, ensuring a supportive and watchful setting without the need for nursing home care. Services are tailored for those with memory loss conditions like Alzheimer's disease.

    The LPN's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    - Providing nursing care under the Nursing Director's supervision
    - Supervising a team of resident assistants
    - Administering medications to residents
    - Educating families on memory loss care and visitation best practices


    Minimum Requirements:
    Valid NYS LPN license

    Preferred Requirements:
    - 1+ year of LPN experience (training available for suitable candidates)
    - Previous experience in memory care preferred
    - Excellent customer service skills
    - Effective communication in a fast-paced setting
    - Team player mindset
    - Strong leadership abilities
    - Eagerness to learn and grow in the nursing field

    Pay Range:
    $30.10 per hour

    Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education level. Exempt positions per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will receive a salary equivalent to the hourly rate. Pay may vary by location within the specified range.
