- Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
- Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
- Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
- Draft correspondence and review demands
- Negotiate
- Manage administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of case progression
- Perform legal research
- Counsel clients
- Identify conflicts and determine case strategies for successful resolution

- Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
- Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years
- Prior experience working for a plaintiff personal injury law firm for a minimum of 2 years required
- Prior experience negotiating personal injury claims required
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
- Must be able to manage a high-volume docket
- Must be able to understand medical records and medical treatment
