VERY high volume of surgical cases are offered for incoming physician which are primarily Cornea
and cataract surgeries. Initial surgical volume of100 grafts, mix of PKP and DSEK/DMEK, 1-3 ulcers per week, a significant amount of external disease, second opinions, ocular surface disease, uveitis, secondary glaucoma, and a number of anterior segment reconstructions each month. In addition to 600 cataracts per year, about a third being complex. Corneal refractive surgeons welcomed. The team consists of 17 MD's
covering all adult sub-specialties, and 7 OD's and 2 PA's with a need for a cornea specialist. The new addition will walk into a busy practice both in terms of patients and surgery with a high volume of pathology. Strong external and internal referral network; state of the art diagnostic and surgical equipment; coupled with a world class experienced staff of professionals to work alongside you. 5 room ophthalmic only ASC where you will perform the majority of your surgical cases.
