This is a Full-Time position directly with the company, no subcontracting or C2C arrangements.

Overview:
DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is in search of a Supplier Quality Engineer to become part of the team in Greer, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality and production systems of new suppliers meet the product specifications. You will play a crucial role in new product launches by overseeing supplier and parts development for manufacturing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Module Quality Engineer(s) with advanced quality planning, risk assessment, and product development.
- Collaborate with other company plants to solve issues jointly.
- Conduct process series evaluations before the Start of Production (SOP) with suppliers globally.
- Support post-handover launch projects to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Execute Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) releases.
- Review monthly supplier ratings.
- Conduct product and process audits and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Lead 8D quality problem-solving for supplier-related issues.
- Perform requalification audits for quality management systems at supplier locations.
- Validate the start-up readiness of new parts and processes.
- Participate in the part approval process for assigned suppliers.
- Coordinate efforts to reduce supplier-related warranty claims.
- Take part in internal problem-solving teams to reduce warranty claims related to purchased parts.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience in supplier quality processes/components within automotive manufacturing.
- Minimum 6 years of experience (5 years with a master's degree) in related part technology and processing.
- Proficiency in advanced quality planning techniques and statistical analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Access, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of the German language is preferred.
