    The Role
    In AspenTech's Global Procurement Department, we're committed to driving value through strategic procurement and process excellence. We're looking for a Procurement Analyst who is passionate about analyzing spend data, building relationships with internal customers, placing orders with suppliers and optimizing procurement processes. The Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in our procurement team, focusing on analyzing procurement data, managing contracts, placing orders with our suppliers and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, market knowledge, and a strategic mindset to support procurement decisions and activities. Self-starters with a drive to win will find success in the role and expanding department within AspenTech.
    Your Impact
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for management.
    • Supplier & Order Management: Assist in placing orders and managing supplier relationships, including conducting performance reviews, negotiating contracts, and resolving order issues.
    • Procurement Processes: Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance.
    • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier innovations.
    • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Sourcing Category Managers on strategic sourcing initiatives, cost reduction programs, and supplier diversity and compliance efforts.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
    What You'll Need
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related analytical role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Experience in Coupa and source-to-pay software and ERP systems is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
