    Essential Functions and Duties

    • Providing proactive consultation, critical evaluation and support to leaders and employees on issues where HR expertise can influence business results.
    • Assessing HR processes, identifying and implementing changes to ensure both continuous improvement and a progressive HR mindset.
    • Driving Talent Development & Talent Management strategies for the organization, while partnering with L&OD and BP counterparts globally to prepare employees for broader roles, empower employees in their own career progression, and to provide viable succession plans for key management roles.
    • Driving ongoing performance analysis for the organization, partnering closely with local People Business Partners to ensure consistency in calibration of performance across NAM region.
    • Leading and participating in HR projects as a functional expert and thought partner, through collaboration with our local and global HR team.
    • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and effectiveness; ensure process guides, HR manuals and policies are up-to-date, progressive, accessible and aligned with the organization's culture.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; understanding the importance of Data Integrity and HR Analytics and proposing and driving solutions in response to trends.
    • Partnering with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Organizational Development on key initiatives.
    • Supporting NAM Human Resources' mission to shape Straumann Group for the future through building a high-performance culture, linking the "why" and the "how" for our employees, building strength in our community through genuine experiences, hiring, empowering, developing, and recognizing exceptional talent, and delivering critical messages with facts and data.
    • Keeping the team informed of all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and best practices
    • Travel 5-10% both domestically and internationally

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
    • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, performance management, investigations and coaching
    • 2+ years of experience working in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
    • Experience supporting sales teams and lean manufacturing organizations
    • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to successfully partner with employees throughout all levels of the organization
    • Ability to be agile and flex with the needs of the organization
    • High level of enthusiastic professionalism
    • Exceptional collaborative skills, including ability to work cross-functionally
    • Performance and business driven; solutions oriented
    • Proven project management, time management and organizational skills
    • Willingness to embrace and embody Straumann's 8 Core Behaviors and Cultural Journey
    • PHR or SPHR certification
