    Are you a disciple of Jesus, eager to make a difference? St.

    Mary's Catholic Church and School in growing Temple, Texas, is seeking a passionate Director of Development to join our amazing team and elevate our fundraising efforts to new heights We are growing in population and in excellence in evangelization, which requires more funding.

    To facilitate that growth, we need a full-time person who can both fundraise and foster community.

    As a committed Catholic and team member, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of evangelization and classical education.


    What You'll Do:
    You will be in charge of the alumni program for the school. In the school's 127-year history, many great people have gone through this school and grown into successful adults.

    We need someone to help bring them back to events, bring their own young children in to enroll, and foster community.

    Developing a community requires money. We need someone to develop a fundraising program.

    This includes planning and executing events, both for the school and the church, creating fundraising drives via various methods, and inviting benefactors to partner with us on mission.

    You will have an active and dynamic role. There will be days in the office like it's a 9-5. There will be weekend work, especially on Sundays and when events are scheduled. There are evening events and times when you need to get involved with school functions. This is not a clock-in, clock-out kind of position. We expect 40 hours a week, but how you get to those 40 hours will be as exciting as this job

    We need energy in this position. You have to be excited to do the job. One day you will be running around with kids and their parents. The next day you might be shaking hands with a large donor and talking to them about program needs. It is physically and mentally demanding.

    This position will be collaborative in nature. You will be the point of contact when other departments need help both planning events and fundraising. You will be included in budgetary meetings and become a key person to help fill the gaps in budgets.

    You will attend Trust Fund Borad Meetings and School Board Meetings to ensure that all donated funds are being utilized according to the benefactors wishes.
