    Responsibilities

    • Operates fixed and portable fluoroscopic or conventional radiologic equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions according to physician specifications under general supervision.
    • Positions patients and adjust x-ray equipment to current setting for each examination.
    • Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by mixing and preparing contrast media, assisting in sterile procedures, etc.
    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiology and be registered as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Through AHA or American Red Cross required.
    • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and 0-2 years of experience.
    Grandview Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and offers programs and services in all medical and surgical areas, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine and Emergency Care. There are more than 600 physicians on the Grandview medical staff representing 30 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has been named an accredited program for Metabolic and Bariatric surgery by ASMBS & ACS as well as an accredited chest pain center.
