- Report any issues affecting plant operations to the General Manager & Plant Manager promptly.
- Monitor warranties and service guarantees, keeping track of expiration dates.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and maintain accurate records of maintenance supplies.
- Take utility meter readings and maintain usage records.
- Source cost-effective parts and services from manufacturers and distributors.
- Establish a positive work environment by demonstrating fairness, consistency, and empathy towards employees.
- Manage parts inventory and ordering process, ensuring accuracy using bar code scanning.
- Implement and oversee a preventive maintenance program to optimize equipment performance.
- Supervise water treatment for boiler systems in the corrugator area.
- Coordinate contract work and installations by external vendors.
- Hold regular Production/Safety meetings with department staff.
- Continuous professional development through seminars, technical courses, and relevant training.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing capital projects.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety protocols, and procedural guidelines.
- Additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of four years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Maintenance Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
