    Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Interim HR Director will be responsible for the temporary management of all HR functions including recruitment and talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, employee benefits and compensation, workers compensation, leave administration.

    Responsibilities:

    • HR functions - policies, programs, procedures, processes, and records. This includes recruiting, talent management,
    • HR employees - coach, train, and monitor their work; provide feedback to increase knowledge, productivity, skills, and abilities.
    • Management -Performance management including coaching and counseling, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
    • -Recruitment functions and work with the Director of Recruiting.
    • -Oversee legal and regulatory compliance in areas of employee and workplace policies, Workers' Compensation, reporting, benefits administration, compensation and payroll, and other HR matters. Ensure organizational compliance with appropriate governing agencies and all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Relations -Work with the Employee Relations Manager and HRBPs to manage and resolve employee issues. Make recommendations and provide solutions to resolve issues and disputes including those with union employees.
    • Benefits & Compensation -Manage employee benefit programs and employee communications. Oversee and advise on employee leave in accordance with leave laws, wage and hour issues, and work closely with payroll as needed.
