Job summary
The Process Engineer conducts various engineering studies and evaluations designs process equipment and implements process improvements. Assignments include plant processing and production operations and other fiber related functions They may serve as a supervisor of operations business support or professional personnel within the assigned area Reviews and writes procedures They will be responsible for SCPs participates in PHA.Responsibilities
- Responsible for the application adherence of HSE PSM standards guidelines Participate in HAZOPS LOPA incident investigation Suggest implement technical improvement technology to improve the plant competitiveness Provide process engineering assistance troubleshoot major operational problems maximize asset utilization Identify ways increase product yields reduce variable costs develop associated process scope achieve expected results Provide process assistance units needed Design implement capital projects design process system develop process flow diagram piping instrumentation diagram write equipment control specifications perform material energy balances Perform commissioning support start up activities during capital project execution Ensure transfer processes new products R D Production Follow scale up activities document written reports Study develop implement new processes required production new products Recommend design conduct evaluate testing purpose quantifying unit performance cost reduction Execute follow studies projects domain improvement development Provide training employees identified Develop documentation about production processes facility keep updated Perform auxiliary duties assigned Support Operations Manager coaching operational teams regarding safety Contribute industrial network Global Business Unit exchange best practices Contribute alert duty group contact operational teams outside office hours Works safe efficient manner Travel may required Wear appropriate PPE Maintains high attendance Performs duties assigned
