    The Pediatric Neurologist position will be responsible to treat and manage infants, children, adolescent and young adult patients who have conditions in the brain spine, nerves, or muscles nervous systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • The physician will report to the Chief Medical Officer at Mercy Children's and will perform medical and other professional services with as may be required in the professional practice at Mercy Children's.

    • The physician will provide at least 36 hours of scheduled patient care time per week and shall be assigned a minimum of 14 call days or nights per month, all on a schedule. The physician's workload will be determined by the company and shall resume whether emergent, inpatient or outpatient, including availability for call on nights and weekends.

    • Physician's clinical duties shall be subject to change at any time based upon factors such as patient volumes or change in department resources.

    • Physician's clinical activities may be performed alone or while teaching students, residents, or fellows.

    Qualifications:
    Education: Medical Degree Licensure: State of Ohio medical license Certifications: Board certification in Pediatrics and Neurologist Experience: 3-year U.S. accredited fellowship training in Pediatric Neurologist The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
