    The LEAD Ohio Foundation is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization based in Columbus, Ohio, conducting
    work across the state. Its mission is to bring about positive change in communities by recruiting,
    training, connecting and supporting emerging progressive leaders in Ohio. We partner with other
    nonprofit organizations, legal organizations and entities, grassroots groups, and current and former
    elected officials to further our mission of making a difference in communities across Ohio.


    This part-time position (20 hours a week), Operations Coordinator, is focused on supporting the work of
    the Executive Director and keeping day-to-day office operations running smoothly. While remote work
    days may be available, any applicant for this position must be located in Columbus, Ohio, and be able to
    be present in our downtown office most work days.


    Job Description


    LEAD Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Coordinator to join our team. The
    Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative duties of our
    organization and, in particular, our Executive Director.


    Responsibilities


    1. Office Management: Maintain a tidy and organized office space, including managing office
    supplies, equipment, and facilities.
    2. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including
    scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements when necessary.
    3. Communication: Assist in the creation and distribution of stakeholder, donor, board member,
    staff, and student communications.
    4. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Assist with data entry, maintaining digital and print databases,
    and organizing files and records.
    5. Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of events, including logistics, RSVPs, and
    coordination with vendors.
    6. Financial Administration: Assist with basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, expense
    reports, donations, and bank records.
    7. General Support: Provide general support to staff as needed, including copy editing, filing, and
    other administrative tasks.

    Qualifications


    ● High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or related
    fields are a plus.
    ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs,
    Sheets, Slides, Forms).
    ● Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
    deadlines.
    ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    ● Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
    ● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness
    to learn.


    Additional responsibilities


    Although the job is typically M-F, normal business hours, we frequently host educational
    programs on evenings and weekends, so our hours flex to accommodate these training times.


    (Ability to attend and support both remote virtual programs as well as in-person programs,
    which are typically held in Columbus, is required.)
