- The Physical Therapist is responsible for the ethical, cost effective management, delivery, documentation, and outcomes of professional physical therapy services to patients in accordance with an established physical plan of care and in compliance with all applicable licensure/certification requirements, profession physical therapy acts, federal, state and agency policies and procedures.
- This position requires population specific competencies.
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
- Requires and Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy
- Experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners; or a Graduate PT eligible for Oklahoma Licensure; or Physical Therapy student in the final semester of graduate school.
- Must obtain licensure prior to assuming patient care.
- Basic Life Support certification is required prior to assuming patient care and is required to be maintained throughout the duration of employment.
