Level I Trauma Center
500 hospital beds
No procedures required
Open ICU

Schedule and Coverage:

Physicians: 7 on/ 7 off schedule
Day shifts: 26 MD/DO & NP/PA
Admitter shifts: NP/PA & 1 MD/DO
Swing shifts: 3 MD/DO
Nights: 4 MD/DO, 3 NP/PA

Qualifications:

H1b candidates accepted
P hysicians: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Nurse Practitioners: ACNP and AGACNP certifications with at least 1 year of HM experience preferred
Physician Assistants: Prefer at least 1 year of HM experience

Miami Valley Hospital is the largest campus within the Premier Health System and has served Dayton and Southwest Ohio since 1890. As the region's most experienced Level I Trauma Center, MVH provides the highest level of care for the most critically injured patients. MVH has earned accreditation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center for specialized care of complex strokes.
