    JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

    Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering projects within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

    Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, budget and quality.

    Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.

    Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.

    Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or issues.

    Monitor and track project progress, utilizing project management tools and methodologies.

    Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.

    Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.

    GENERAL ATTRIBUTE / COMPETENCIES:

    Good blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of e-Drawings preferred

    Understanding of costing techniques.

    Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills

    Ability to think ahead, proactively, with a high degree of attention to detail

    Fast processor of information, energetic, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects

    Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES REQUIRED

    3+ years of experience in metal fabrication or engineering design and project management

    PMP Certification considered an asset

    Ability to read or use CAD programs such as: SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360

    Flexibility to travel to the manufacturing facilities or customers site in Canada, the United States, and Internationally as required to successfully execute the projects assigned
