Our Client, a well known public accounting firm that is known for work-life balance and employee contentment is seeking a Tax Director, to join their growing firm. This is an opportunity with a strong track to a partnership.

JOB DETAILS

• Review and lead engagements for completion of complex federal and state tax returns
• Work with midsized private companies
• Review of C-Corps, S Corps, Partnership including complex Flow Throughs & K-1s
• Ensures that tax returns and other compliance are prepared in accordance with required professional standards.
• Build and develop a team, mentor and guide
• Work closely with top officers of client firms
• Excels with client managment including including engagement planning and budgeting
• Maintains knowledge of current tax matters that affect the business climate

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and CPA preferred
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Progressive federal tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting preferred
• Experience in C Corporation/S corps/partnership income taxes for Income Taxes technical knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
