- Responsible for production of design deliverables based on discussions with Engineering and/or project team.
- Give input for status of project deliverables with regards to man-hour forecasts, resource needs and schedule.
- Provide status on production of design deliverables in accordance with Primoris workflow and project schedule.
- Reviewing vendor documentation and adjusting design as appropriate to match equipment and materials being supplied.
- Assist with development of construction cost (TIC) estimates.
- Assist with development of engineering and design budgets for proposals.
- Engage in inter-discipline communications such as, squad checks, interference identification, equipment layout and general design coordination.
- Compliance Check work of others to assist E&I Department with issuing drawing packages.
- Make site visits, as required, for project data collection to aid in design and engineering calculations.
- Perform engineering/design support task, as required.
- 5+ years of experience in a design role required.
- Knowledge of CAD software and engineering design software is preferred.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Products.
- Experience with a consulting engineering firm preferred.
