    Description

    AMI is seeking experienced Per Diem RNs for General Radiology coverage in the Galloway, Cape May Court House, and Egg Harbor Township offices. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and innovative outpatient radiology practice

    Responsibilities of the RN include, but are not limited to:
    • Assists the entire outpatient radiology team and multiple modalities in providing patient care throughout a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures, including obtaining IV access, administering medications to aid with the examination, and assessing patients using clinical judgement;
    • Performs office related tasks and projects to ensure the efficient, orderly and timely delivery of patient care;
    • Ensures communication of patient status and results is provided to all involved members of the healthcare team;
    • Demonstrates appropriate level of empathy, understanding and interest in the needs of all patients referred to AMI, and acts as a patient advocate and radiologist liaison; and
    • Performs other responsibilities and duties as required and assigned.
    This Per Diem position includes weekdays, with shift times of 7am-3:30pm and 7:30am-4pm; no weekends or nights. This position will provide coverage in the AMI offices in Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, and Cape May Court House. Schedules and locations may change based on department needs.

    Qualifications
    • Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current RN license in the State of New Jersey;
    • Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical RN work experience;
    • BLS & ACLS certifications required;
    • Candidates must possess strong skills for IV therapy techniques;
    • Should have a comprehensive understanding of medications to include potential contraindications and side effects;
    • Candidate should have previous experience in identifying and understanding cardiac rhythms;
    • Should possess the ability to identify, react and respond quickly to a variety of emergent patient situations;
    • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR required;
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; and
    • Candidates must be able to adapt to changing office situations while working independently.
