    Our newly founded Tacoma-based privately held healthcare services client is growing and seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting team.

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
    Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end close processes.
    Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
    Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    Assist in cash flow, prepare forecasts, and support tax compliance.
    Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
    Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
    Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any business related field; CPA preferred
    4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.
    Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency in NetSuite accounting software.
    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    Experience in professional services industry is beneficial.

    Hybrid work schedule, 3 days on-site; fully on-site for training. Base salary up to $90,000, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k retirement plans, and accrued PTO/sick policy.
