    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    We are seeking a General Superintendent for our growing team in York, PA. This individual will provide on-site supervision and coordination for all phases of our construction projects. This person is soley responsible for and will be held accountable for the timely competition of the project. An idea candidate will possess knowledge of the construction industry, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

    DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plans, manages and executes project schedules
    • Performs each project successfully, including project scheduling and controlling direct job material and labor costs
    • Analyzes and coordinates manpower and equipment needs for each project
    • Effectively collaborates with team members
    • Maintains a good working relationship between the company and the customer
    • Reviews and understands project plans and specifications
    • Ensures accurate reporting of time and quantities
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 5-10 years construction field experience, including demonstrated Superintendent experience
    • Demonstrated ability to create and manage a construction schedule
    • Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
    • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
    • Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
    • Must have experience with Microsoft products such as word, excel and outlook
    • Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
