    City Kitty is Rhode Island's premier feline exclusive practice and has been a beloved and iconic part of the community for more than 20 years. We believe that cats deserve to be examined in a facility that caters to them and their family. There is a strong emphasis regarding work-life balance; we have 4-day (less than 40 hour) work weeks, no weekend hours, no on-call shifts and 10 paid holidays We also have a very high tech:doctor ratio, which leaves time for you to focus on medicine.

    $100,000-$160,000 base salary

    Plus, get up to a $50,000 sign-on bonus which has the same zing as a hundred pounds of fresh cat nip.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Examine and diagnose diseases of cats. We treat a lot of geriatric cats with co-morbidities
    • Practice high-quality medicine with a clientele who allow you to do the best for their cats
    • Perform surgery (including dentals) daily, depending on your comfort level
    • Work closely with a strong group of support staff to provide high level care and communication to our patients and their owners
    • Have the freedom to practice the way you feel is best for your patients
    • Work closely in a collaborative environment with 3-4 other doctors
    • Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and cats
    • Enjoy a work/life balance that allows you to do things other than veterinary medicine

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
    • 1+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine is preferred but we are happy to mentor a motivated new grad
    • Ability to attain RI Veterinary License
    • Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
