    **Part-time Cook for Language Camp (Bemidji)**

    Position Title Part-time Cook for Language Camp (Bemidji) Position Type Staff FTE TBD General Employment Period January thru December General Work Schedule (days of week) Varies, will work with school or another work schedule General shift hours Flexible No Job Summary/Basic Function As a cook, you will follow culturally authentic recipes, adjust based on special requests and work with a diverse group of staff under the direction of the Kitchen Coordinator. You will present food that is not only delicious and cooked to the specifications for the meal but that is safe and fresh as well.

    **You will:**

    Prepare food through multiple methods of baking, frying, broiling and grilling while using industrial kitchen equipment

    Maintain quality, safety & sanitation standards in food handling and preparation

    Wash dishes

    Provide excellent services to guests

    **Pay:**

    $15.00 and up DOE Minimum Qualifications

    Pass a background check

    3 months experience in food service

    18 years of age

    Read recipe cards

    Preferred Qualifications

    Quantity cooking experience

    ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment
