The Associate Business Development plays a critical role in supporting inorganic growth activity across GE HealthCare including identifying and executing mergers and acquisitions divestitures equity investments partnerships / alliances and licensing transactions

Responsibilities

Collaborates with business segment regional deal teams identifying executing on all Business Development transactions including mergers acquisitions divestitures equity investments partnerships / alliances and licensing Supports leads various phases of the transaction process including market analyses development evaluation of inorganic strategies drafting investment theses target identification screening valuation modelling due diligence negotiation closing Collaborates assigned segment function regional teams performs gap analysis to business unit portfolio helps define strategic tactical steps best position segment accelerated growth Partners Business Development leadership manage communication alignment key internal stakeholders support effective decision making transaction approval processes Facilitates smooth transition responsibilities knowledge business functional leadership responsible ongoing operations post close Analyze customer needs marketplace dynamics industry trends competitive landscape understand impact business activities decisions external environment Partners investment bankers consultants lawyers third parties transaction processes Owns key tools process standard work Business Development team leads initiatives constantly improve use functionality these tools templates
