- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Manage employee files and ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping.
- Assist with the administration of HR programs such as benefits, compensation, and performance management.
- Provide support to employees with HR-related questions or concerns, and refer complex issues to senior HR staff as needed.
- Assist with HR compliance efforts, including EEO reporting and I-9 verification.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of HR laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
